On October 7th, Classic Fine Foods UK had the privilege to be a partner of the MICHELIN Star Revelation Great Britain & Ireland 2020, at the Hurlingham Club, London.

All the Classic Fine Foods UK teams and partners were looking forward to being part of this exceptional and exclusive event.

A huge congratulations to all the Chefs and their teams! During this memorable evening Classic Fine Foods UK, as purveyor of fine food products from around the world, created a gastronomic menu for the cocktail celebration with Chef Walter Ishizuka, director at MyCuisineUK, and our in-house Pastry Chef Denis Dramé MCA.

For the enjoyment of everyone, Classic Fine Foods UK made a selection of French cheese and butter from our partner Le Beurre Bordier, which went well perfectly with a bread selection from our partner Bridor.

Maison Ponthier, the second largest fruit puree producer in France, has won over the chef guests with 3 mocktail recipes.

Virgin Black: Blackcurrant, Strawberry and Banana purees
Story of Passion: Lychee, Passionfruit and Lemon purees
Spicy Joe: Pineapple Yuzu Cardamom and Mandarin purees

Denis Dramé MCA, Pastry Chef at TheTasteLab London, and his team have created splendid desserts especially for the MICHELIN Star Revelation, a delight!

Chocolate Finger: Chocolate, hazelnut and caramel 
Tiki Hut: Passion fruit and mango compote, vanilla pineapple and coconut cream
Mont Blanc: Blackcurrant compote, chestnut crémeux, streusel, vanilla cream and meringue 
Pavlova: Meringue, raspberry and yuzu compote and Buddha’s hand whipped ganache
Paris – London: Caramelised choux pastry, almond and hazelnut praline and hazelnut mousseline
Gin Infused Baba: Savarin soaked in “The Botanist” gin, pink grapefruit jelly and citrus Chantilly
Millefeuille: Vanilla cream and salted caramel 

 

MICHELIN Plaques Delivery

Classic Fine Foods UK team members will travel through England & Wales to deliver all the MICHELIN plaques to 156 awarded Michelin Star Restaurants in person. An exciting and thrilling adventure!

 

MICHELIN Golden Plaque Challenge

In partnership with MICHELIN Guide, Classic Fine Foods UK invites all the 2020 Michelin Star Restaurants to participate to the Golden Plaque Social Media challenge!

On your Instagram account share the best picture of your plaque and use #MYMICHELINPLAQUEGBI + @ClassicFineFoodsUK + @MICHELINGuide to officially join the challenge and confirm your participation.

On January 15th, Michelin will draw the winner of the golden plaque from among the participants.

Then, the winner’s picture and 3 other pictures selected by a jury composed of the MICHELIN Guide team, will be published on the MICHELIN Guide Instagram account. The 3 selected pictures will be selected from the following categories:
-    The best team spirit picture
-    The most creative picture
-    The highest number of likes
