On April 3rd, we were very happy to organise a fantastic event at TheTasteLab by Classic Fine Foods UK to launch our new partnership with Maison Ponthier, the leader in fruit and vegetable purees.
This exclusive event was an opportunity for guests to learn about Maison Ponthier’s exceptional range of chilled and frozen fruit purees with a live tasting session and a buffet demonstration of pastry creations, featuring renowned Chefs Benoit Blin MCA and Denis Dramé MCA.
All our guests were welcomed with a Bellini cocktail made with White Peach puree, a good start to discover and enjoy Ponthier fruit purees.
Maison Ponthier is today the second largest fruit puree producer in France and has built a strong relationship with many renowned chefs and mixologists.
Maison Ponthier’s aim is to produce frozen and chilled fruit purees which are as close as possible to the taste, colour and smell of the original fruit. The company doesn’t use any additives (colourings, preservatives, flavourings) to guarantee the naturalness of the products. Priority is given to purees with 100% fruit and most of the fruit purees are made from single variety and single origin fruits to deliver the best organoleptic qualities.
Our customers had the privileged opportunity of tasting – and enjoying – some of Ponthier fruit purees, such as Mango, Raspberry, Coconut Intense, White Peach, Pear, Yuzu, Passion Fruit, Strawberry and many more. It was the best way to appreciate the taste, colour and smell of the original fruits.
The tasting session was followed by a Cocktail Reception, where a mixologist made 4 different recipes using some of the fruit purees to give guests a taste of the infinite possibilities for their cocktail and mocktail creations!
“Distant Land” mocktail with pineapple puree, “That Little Pink Princess” mocktail with strawberry & lemon purees, “Porn Star Martini” cocktail with passion fruit & lime purees and “Cactus Margarita” cocktail with lime and prickly pear purees. All the recipes are available on Maison Ponthier website.
To end this fantastic event, guests had the pleasure of enjoying a Buffet Demonstration of delicious pastry recipes created by renowned chefs, Benoit Blin MCA Head Pastry Chef at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons and Denis Dramé MCA Head Pastry Chef at TheTasteLab.
Through their creations (Exotic fruit bavarois, red pepper & strawberry cream cheese almondine, rhubarb trifle, raspberry & beetroot tart) they explained the benefits of the products and why Ponthier purees are the best fruit purees for Pastry Chefs.
