The Swiss Indulgence Party was one of the most special events this year that we hosted at Haugen London Restaurant to launch and celebrate our partnership with two outstanding brands from Switzerland: Villars and HUG.

These two partnerships represent our aim to continue providing the best quality ingredients, products and solutions to our customers.

Quality, culture and tradition are values that we share with Villars and HUG and we couldn’t be more delighted to have them on board.




Villars has been a specialist chocolatier since 1901, producing the pure Swiss chocolate that has given them their prestige in the industry. The chocolate from Villars is made exclusively with Swiss milk which has an incomparable quality and purity.

It is the marriage of this pure Swiss milk with selected cocoa beans from South Africa, Oceania and South America; sublimated by the know-how of the Maîtres Chocolatiers de Villars, that makes their chocolate unique.

We are proud to be the first to launch Villars in the UK and we now we stock and have available Villars chocolate couvertures including Blend, Terroir Milk and Single Origin; Chocolate Baking Sticks and a wide selection of Chocolate Bars and Gift Boxes.



HUG is a family company of five generations that combine innovation and tradition to create authentic and high quality pastry products made with 100% Swiss raw ingredients.

They company’s ready-to-use pastry solutions are designed to reduce labour time and ensure precision so that chefs can focus on the flare and innovation of their creations.

We are delighted to stock and have available a wide range of sweet and savoury tart shells in different sizes to cater our customer needs.



The Swiss Indulgence Party was the perfect event to introduce the two brands and, for the occasion, we invited our customers to enjoy many different stunning Swiss treats including some fantastic pastry desserts made by the Swiss Pastry Chef Christophe Renou with the chocolates from Villars and some fantastic canapes made by our Pastry Chef Denis Dramé MCA with the tartlets from HUGs.

In addition, our guests enjoyed an authentic Swiss raclette with all the trimmings, all washed down with brilliant wines and delicious cocktails.



The party wouldn’t be a party without entertainment and we had the pleasure to have the Oompah & Schlager Band playing great Swiss live music!
